Rain Water Harvesting
The total eight (A, to H) buildings are present in campus. All the buildings (i.e. A, to H) are provided with rain water pipes. All buildings present in campus are provided with rain water pipes to collect the rain water from terrace of all buildings during rainy season. The rain water pipes collect rain water from the terrace and deposit it into a pit. The flow of water takes place through gravity. This water is absorbed by the dry land present in the campus. This effectively gets rid of excess water. The water absorbed by dry land may hopefully increases the ground water level near the vicinity of the institute. Also some of the water which is collected through rain water pipes is used to irrigate some plants and lawn present in the campus.
